Damon Albarn just cannot shut off that brain of his. While on tour in support of 2010's Plastic Beach, Gorillaz made and recorded the first official album made entirely on an iPad. There may be no standout single on The Fall, but that's not the point. The album breathes to the rhythm of life on the road, an experience that traverses not only various landscapes but various moods, from reflective and melancholic ("HillBilly Man," "Amarillo") to delirious and ominous ("Little Pink Plastic Bags," "The Snake in Dallas") to ultimate comfort in the repetition of it all ("Detroit," "Aspen Forest").
