Esthero

Hailing from Toronto, singer Esthero and guitarist Doc cover all the musical bases by crossing the streams of rock, R&B and electronica. Their tasteful production keeps them in the mainstream with their loungey (almost trip-hop) radio-friendly sound. Born Jen-Bea Englishman, Esthero flaunts an emotional style that's never too dramatic and possesses the soul of Michael Jackson and the spirituality of Bjork. Their 1998 debut, Breath From Another, on the Sony sub-label Work features the single "Heaven Sent," which was also released as an EP with remixes by the Mad Professor and DJ Krush.
