Karyme Lozano

She's a telenovela powerhouse, star of series including Amar Sin Limites and Tres Mujeres. She's also a film actor and frequents the pages of People's 50 Most Beautiful People lists. But Karyme Lozano, like many starlets, has aspirations to sing. Unlike many starlets, however, Lozano has some cred behind her -- she began studying piano and composing songs when she was just a girl, only discarding her dream of making music when her acting career began to take off. Lozano finally found her way into a music studio in 2007, releasing her first album, Prohibido, in 2008. Coupling her innate skill with talented production work, Prohibido was a surprisingly beguiling mix of pop froth, cumbia and hip (read: reggaeton) beats.
