Natalie MacMaster

Canadian-born Natalie MacMaster's meteoric rise to fame coincided with the wildfire success of Lord of the Dance. The prevailing interest in traditional Celtic music helped bolster MacMaster from a musical prodigy to a worldwide sensation. As well as playing fiddle with Classical orchestras, she has also written and recorded soft rock songs with her own band. An equally talented singer and musician, MacMaster's blending of Celtic influences and Top-40-friendly pop songs has proven to be a potent combination.
